I hate writing bio pages…I think a lot of people do. But I know you want to know a little about me before you hire me, that’s fair. So I’m taking a cue from one of my photographer friends and using the Q&A format.

Q: Where are you from?
A: Okalahoma. I grew up in the Tulsa area, went to college in Arkansas where I met a Colorado guy. I married him and we lived in Glenwood Springs, Colorado for 2 years. We moved back to Tulsa for 10, then moved to Joplin, Missouri for 8 years. In the fall of 2010 my husband was transferred to Dallas.

Q: How long have you been in business?
A: Since 2007.

Q: Did you go to school to become a photographer?
A: I learned on the job. I worked for a portrait studio for three years in Tulsa before we moved to Missouri.

Q: Who took your picture?
A: That would be Amie. We’ve worked together on weddings and proms for a couple of years. She’s in Northeastern Oklahoma. If you need a photographer in that area, call her, she rocks!

Q: Dogs or cats?
A: Dogs. I have three.

Q: Coke or Pepsi?
A: Water. I’ll tell you why when we talk.
